Human speech typically occupies between 300 and 3,400 Hz of the audio spectrum.In particular, in telephone circuits, frequency response is required to be limited to this range.A similar filter is used in Figure 19, "Digital Voice Security System", published in volume 1 of the EFY Electronics Project.However, it USES a special filter IC, which is not easy to obtain in addition to the high cost.This circuit is useful not only for the above projects, but also for various other speech circuits.
