A circuit diagram is a graphical representation of an electrical circuit that employs either simple representations of parts or industry standard symbols. The use of symbols is determined by the audience that is examining the graphic. Today, many embedded systems require a 5V power supply with certain special functions, such as power failure detection, zero crossing signal of the main power supply, and the possibility of maintaining the built-in battery charge.
