A Process Flow Diagram (PFD) is a diagram commonly used in chemical and process engineering to indicate the general flow of plant processes and equipment. The PFD displays the relationship between major equipment of a plant facility and does not show minor details like piping or designation. A deoxidization process flow diagram can be created using either EdrawMax or EdrawMax Online. The important units in the deoxidization process flow diagram are storeroom temperature, siren, pump, ammonia separator liquid level, system controller, ammonia storage device, condenser, exhaust pressure, compressor, and exhaust pressure. Deoxidizing is a method used in metallurgy to remove the oxygen content during steel manufacturing. In contrast, antioxidants are used for stabilization, such as in the storage of food. Deoxidation is important in the steelmaking process as oxygen is often detrimental to the quality of steel produced.
