Event Tree Diagram or Event Tree Analysis is a forward, top-down, logical modeling technique for both success and failure that explores responses through a single initiating event and lays a path for assessing probabilities of the outcomes and overall system analysis. As shown in the vent tree diagram, ETA uses a type of modeling technique called event tree, which branches events from one event using Boolean logic. The below diagram illustrates how the event tree analysis can be used in risk assessments by determining the probability used to assess risk when multiplied by the hazard of events. It is common to find single-point failures without intervening events between the initiating event and a loss. Use EdrawMax to create the Event Tree Diagram.
