Mrs. Lofton used the wipe board to write the letter "A" and described the writing motions. Alan was successfully able to follow along on his board and wrote the letter "A". Mrs. Lofton had the students come up with words that started with the letter "A". Alan identified that his name started with the letter "A". Introduced to the letter "A" by Mrs. Lofton by seeing and hearing what the letter "A" looks and sounds like. Alan was able to repeat the sounds after Mrs. Lofton. Mrs. Lofton showed the motion and animal that went with the letter "A" "Allie Alligator says aaa, aaa" Alan was able to follow along and memick motion and sound. Mrs. Lofton had the students draw a picture of something that started with the letter"A". Alan drew an airplane. Mrs. Lofton read a stroy with a lot of things that started with the letter "A" in the story. Alan was successfully able to identify that an ambulance started with "A". Alan was successfully able to use ABC Mouse and played three games identifying the letter "A" in the games.
