Port LAN Switch Network
The below Network Diagram shows an 8-port LAN Switch and shows that when a device sends a packet to another device, it enters the switch, and the switch reads its header to determine what to do with it. It matches the destination address or addresses and sends the packet out through the appropriate ports that lead to the destination devices. As illustrated below, an 8-port LAN Switch is easy to connect and supplies power to any PoE-enabled devices such as wireless access points, network cameras, IP phones as well as the other Ethernet-enabled devices, for example, computers, printers, and network attached storages (NAS) onto some network.
