The half-yearly roadmap diagram for an individual development plan (IDP) of infrastructure automation starts with planning, piloting, scaling-up, and steady-state. In the planning stage, a business analyst will develop a business case, give proof of concept, and identify automation tools. In phase 2 of piloting, one should select initial use cases, run pilot projects, monitor performance, and involve automation CoE. In the second half of the year, the team will review and validate the IDP strategy and inhibit IDP capabilities in automation. Whereas stage four shows how the team will deploy governance models and build awareness via training workshops.
