Sometimes you don't decide that which Lithium-ion battery is original and which battery is fake. So to overcome this problem this circuit has been designing which is called a dummy load circuit.
This type of dummy load circuit is usually used to find the capacity of Lithium-ion batteries.
We can adjust the load by just simply rotating a Potentiometer.
What is a Dummy Load?
A dummy load is a device used to simulate an electrical load, usually for testing purposes. This dummy load circuit is usually used to determine whether the Lithium-ion battery is fake or real by testing its capacity.
We have a potentiometer through which we can adjust the load. Here we use an op-amp IC and few more components to make the circuit.
While using this circuit attach a big heat sink with the MOSFET which prevents it from being fried.
Components Needs:
1) Op-Amp IC
2) 1k, 10k, 150ohm, 0.1ohm 5 watt Resistance
3) 5k Potentiometer
4) 100nf Capacitor
5) IRZ1404 Mosfet
