As the Johna and Omar Genogram illustrates, both parents who live in Pakistan follow a very traditional Islamic culture. The parent side had come together to arrange the marriages for Omar and Johna. That being said, they both face discrimination, and the result is shown in their six-year-old daughter Isra who faces teasing at her kindergarten school.
