A ceiling fan circulates air by using hub-mounted revolving blades positioned on the ceiling of a room or space. Ceiling fans are usually electrically driven. They efficiently cool humans by boosting air speed.
Ceiling fans and light packages can be controlled in a variety of ways.
One wire/switch - to turn the fan (and lights) on and off at the same time
Two wires/switches: one turns on/off the fan, and the other turns on/off the lights.
To modify the fan speed and lights, pull the chains.
On new or existing fans, a remote control is offered to modify fan speed and lighting.
Wall controls are offered for either one or two wire/switch setups to change fan speed and lights.
