Mobile commerce value chain is essentially the conventional mobile communication value chain and the Internet value chain. The below Value Chain is segmented into Contents and Infra-Structure & Services, ranging from content creation, content packaging, market making, mobile transport, mobile services & delivery support, and mobile interface & applications. As the diagram below illustrates, Value Chain Analysis is a way to visually see a company's business activities to see how the company can create a competitive advantage. It should be noted here that Telecommunication operators can play a very active and important role in the Mcommerce services because the users must go through their networks to perform all mobile commerce transactions. Moreover, the operators can provide users one common bill (bundled services) for voice, data, and mobile commerce services. Although they may play any of the other roles, they choose not to play all the roles but still focus on their core business.
