Coco is a 2017 American computer-animated fantasy film published by Walt Disney Pictures and produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It is directed by Lee Unkrich and co-directed by Adrian Molina and is based on an original idea by Lee Unkrich. Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garca Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Alanna Ubach, Renée Victor, Ana Ofelia Murgua, and Edward James Olmos star in the film's voice cast. The plot follows Miguel, a 12-year-old kid who is unintentionally sent to the Land of the Dead, where he seeks the assistance of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather in returning him to his living family and reversing his family's prohibition on music.
