Above shows a layout structure floor plan. Floor plans depict the overall layout of living, working, and outdoor areas. Although they should be scale drawings, floor plans don’t hold enough information for builders to actually construct a home or other structure. A floor plan, on the other hand, is essentially a simple diagram that shows room layout and serves as a conceptual starting point. A builder needs detailed blueprints, or construction-ready drawings, with technical details that you will not find on most floor plans.
