A graphical representation technique is known as the Precedence Diagramming Method (PDM) or Activity on Node (AON) diagramming method. It is used in the formulation of schedules to highlight the interdependencies of operations. This method is used to create project schedule network diagrams such as critical path network diagrams, critical chain network diagrams, etc. The activity linkages are shown in the following Precedence Diagram (AON diagram), which is a key communication tool for stakeholders. The precedence diagram is made up of nodes, which are rectangles. The project activities are depicted in these boxes. An arrow displays the relationship between two boxes by combining them with an arrow. As a result, these diagrams are also referred to as activity on node (AON) charts.
