This is my family genogram. The genogram, which is similar to a family tree, illustrates all of the significant links within the family. One of the primary motivations for creating a genogram is to acquire a more full image of the family constellation. The genogram is a method for systematically determining who is in the family, avoiding the typical problem of some families not disclosing vital but contested or unpleasant relationships to therapists.
