A Family genogram is shown here, forcounselling class. A genogram is a graphic depiction of a family structure that includes at least three generations. Its objective is to assist system members in visualizing their surroundings so that crucial events and noticeable patterns may be recognized and documented. Murray Bowen created the genogram, which has subsequently been used by various family therapy techniques as well as disciplines outside of family therapy.
