A genogram is shown here. A genogram is simply an upgraded version of the family tree. To begin, you sketch out your family tree, going back two or three generations (or more if you feel really ambitious). However, rather than merely documenting historical facts about your family, you also record patterns of behavior and the quality of connections among family members.
