The standard Starship payload fairing has an outer diameter of 9 m, resulting in the largest usable payload volume of any current or development launcher. The payload fairing on the Starship is a clamshell structure that houses the payload. The 165-foot-tall SN 20 was placed atop Booster 4 during the overnight Starship stacking. These two components are expected to attempt Starship's first suborbital test flight.
