This is an example of a ABM workflow. A workflow is a series of tasks that process a collection of data. Workflows exist in every type of organization and sector. A process is generated whenever data is transferred between humans and/or systems. Workflows are the routes that define how something moves from undone to done, or from raw to processed. Workflows occur throughout the workplace. Some are quite organized, while others are unstructured, but processes exist whenever data goes from one activity to another. Workflow may be automated using software tools that apply business rules to determine when one step has been properly completed and the next phase can begin.
