This RACI example stands for Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed. Each letter in RACI represents a level of project task responsibility. This simple chart overviews RACI definitions and how many people to assign to each role in your RACI matrix. In a RACI matrix, the same person can be both Responsible and Accountable for a task, but they are not the same person. The responsibility assignment matrix (RACI) is not the only one available.
