OKRs (Objective and Key Results) are an effective goal-setting system utilized by project managers to improve collaboration, communication, and accountability among team members. Gained in popularity by tech companies like Google, OKRs involve setting an objective to strive for as well as several key results--which act as measurable goals--that need to be reached in order to achieve the larger objective. For example, a project manager might set a single 90% completion rate objective with two key results that would enable the team to meet this goal: hold two meetings per month and ensure that 90% of projects are completed on time each year.
