Wireframing is typically carried out during the discovery phase of a product's life cycle. Designers test the product's boundaries, share and refine concepts, and establish essential company needs during this stage. As the initial step in the design process, a wireframe represents the skeleton of a website. User feedback provides designers with invaluable information that can be used to improve subsequent iterations of the product's design, such as the prototype and the mockup. Wireframes have three main uses such as they help keep the concept userfocused, they clarify and define website features, and they can be made quickly and cheaply.
