A work breakdown structure (WBS) is a visual, hierarchical and deliverable-oriented deconstruction of a project. Here is a sample for the CHALM Cumberland Cith Council Project Management Education Fair. It begins with the identification of the project's deliverables, such as pre-planning, planning, logistics and venue management etc. These deliverables are then divided into smaller and more specific tasks that contribute to the overall success of the project. It is a helpful diagram for project managers because it allows them to break down their project scope and visualize all the tasks required to complete their projects.
