The technology roadmap of the paper - Targeting CXCL13, it alleviates checkpoint inhibitor-like pneumonia (CIP) caused by anti-PD-1 treatment by interfering with the ectopic formation of tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) and B cell recruitment. Anti-PD-1 aging-related CXCL13 upregulation leads to pneumonia damage by promoting the formation of TLS-like and B cell recruitment. CXCL13 blockade can alleviate CIP-like toxicity while retaining anti-tumor immunity.
