This diagram shows the ring network topology demonstration. In this ring network, each node is connected into a ring shape and can only transfer data to the next node. This network topology uses tokens to identify sender and receiver nodes. This diagram shows only unidirectional transmission which means node1 can transmit data to node2 and node2 can transfer data to node3 only. This way continues to the end node of the ring network. Last node always connects to the first node to complete the ring network. Ring network can be bidirectional too which means the sender node can transmit data to the next node and can also transmit data to the previous node.
