The AWS Deep Learning AMI is a developer's one-stop shop for deep learning in the cloud. This customized machine instance is available in most Amazon EC2 regions for various instance types, from a small CPU-only instance to the latest high-powered multi-GPU instances. The architecture diagram below shows AI infrastructure, like Amazon EC2 P2 and GPUS, Amazon EC2 CPUS, AWS LAMBDA, etc. It should be noted here that AWS Lambda is a serverless compute service that runs the code in response to events and automatically manages the underlying compute resources for the developer. One can use AWS Lambda to extend other AWS services with custom logic or create your back-end services that operate at AWS scale, performance, and security. It also shows three AI platforms: Amazon Machine Learning, Amazon EMR, Spark & SPARK ML, including AI services like Amazon RECOGNITION, AMAZON POLLY, AND AMAZON LEX.
