This family ecomap which highlights larger society relationships can be used by medical professionals for analyzing the quality of relationships a family has with society. Alternatively, families can also use the ecomap to analyze their social relationships themselves and find out the areas or relationships that are weak and might need more focus.
With the Family Unit accommodated in the central circle, there are multiple surrounding circles that can be edited to add the current family relationships. It could be with the Physician, Utility Service Provider, Friends, School, Church, Extended Family, and more. Different types of lines can then be used for demonstrating the quality of the relationship the family has with those society members.
