Ecosystem Map

The following circular diagram showcases the inner hub of a startup ecosystem, regional ecosystem, and outer space. It should be noted here that digitization connects various business entities to create an interconnected ecosystem through digital platforms. As shown in the ecosystem map, a total of nine startup support organizations, such as incubators, co-working spaces, and a startup hub, were contacted to participate in the study. Here the startup hub and the startups are in the innermost circle that illustrates the environment. The next circle presents the actors in the regional ecosystem. These actors include collaborators as well as competitors to a startup support organization. In the outer circle, relevant actors outside the regional ecosystem are presented. These actors influence startups without necessarily being in their immediate geographical surroundings.
