Diagrams range in complexity from very simple to deeply intricate, and so labeling diagrams is an activity that is appropriate at all grade levels and in many subject areas. It should be noted here that anatomical diagrams are very complex, and if you have labeled them correctly, your students will not have a hard time learning them or remembering them. In the Yeast Cell Parts labeled diagram, we see Lipid granule, Vacuole, Mitochondria, Cytoplasm, Golgi Apparatus, Nucleus, Cell Wall, Cell Membrane, and Bud Scar. It should be noted here that a label diagram is a part of a diagram where you sometimes label anything by an arrow or line connecting the part of the diagram to the word being used as a label.
