It stars Dolly Parton, Christine Baranski, Jenifer Lewis, and Treat Williams. On November 22, 2020, Netflix will release the film. Christmas on the Square was named Outstanding Television Movie at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards. All of the songs in the film were written by Dolly Parton. Parton did record versions of Christmas Is and Christmas on the Square for her 2020 album A Holly Dolly Christmas, but no soundtrack album was released. Try first appeared on Parton's 2014 album.
